LightSpeed Mallets are designed to be lightweight, ergonomic and comfortable, thereby giving the performing marimbist greater endurance and reducing the possibility of overuse injuries.  These mallets are hand crafted and, with appropriate use, they should last for many years.  However, the carbon fiber handles should not be struck together as they could potentially shatter.

Our standard finished mallet length is currently 13".  We also have a limited selection of longer mallets with a finished length of 13 3/4".
